Local parties
PAK – the largest party – preferred a continuation of a coalition with only local parties. So with List Borger and BBB/List Palmen. But from the information round there appeared to be no majority in favor of this because Lijst Borger did not like it.

Consultation
After consultation with the supporters, PAK decided to go for a coalition with Lijst Borger, VVD and PvdA. In recent weeks, the informants have also investigated variants with the participation of the SP in a coalition. But the party decided earlier this week to refrain from participating in the coalition negotiations. This is because the SP wants to propagate its own agenda, identity and core values and sees more opportunities for this in the opposition.
