On Friday morning, Bruno Fernandes was driving his car to practice when he collided with another vehicle. The midfielder was lucky in his misfortune.

Scare moment for Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese was involved in a car accident on Friday morning on his way to training but luckily none of the people involved were seriously injured. This was first reported by the PA news agency.

Now United coach Ralf Rangnick also commented on the incident that is said to have happened on Friday: “But as far as I know, nobody was injured,” said the German coach. “He’s been training with the team and he’s been okay. So I think he’ll be okay for tomorrow.”

Fernandes was reportedly driving his Porsche Panamera when he collided with a driver of a Volkswagen, which caused the airbag to deploy. Fernandes is said not to have been alone in the car. All inmates got away with a fright.

The midfielder will take part in United’s training in the afternoon and, according to Rangnick, is also ready for the Premier League game at Liverpool on Tuesday (from 9 p.m. in the t-online live ticker).

Fernandes has scored nine goals for the Red Devils this season in 30 league games.
