Brunello Cucinelli SpA has closed the first quarter of 2022 “with particularly positive results”, the company announced on Wednesday. During this period, the Italian fashion house increased sales by 19.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and reached a total of 196.9 million euros. The Italian fashion house was able to record significant growth, particularly in the Americas region.
The company posted growth in all geographic regions. In the Italian home market, Brunello Cucinelli achieved growth of 2.8 percent. In the rest of Europe and Asia, the company increased sales in the first quarter by 14.5 percent year-on-year to EUR 58.3 million and EUR 47.6 million, respectively. In America, sales grew by 37.7 percent to 66.9 million euros.
With regard to the sales channels, Brunello Cucinelli was also able to achieve an increase in sales in both retail and wholesale. In the first three months of the current financial year, the company was able to record an increase of 36.4 percent in retail compared to the first quarter of 2021 to 100.2 million euros. In wholesale there was an increase of 6.1 percent to 96.7 million euros.
