Brunello Cucinelli increases annual sales by almost 24 percent

The Italian fashion house Brunello Cucinelli SpA has exceeded its sales forecast for 2023, which was increased just a few weeks ago.

According to a statement published on Monday, the knitwear specialist generated sales of almost 1.14 billion euros last year, which corresponded to an increase of 23.9 percent compared to 2022. Adjusted for exchange rate changes, revenue even grew by 26.0 percent. In mid-December, management had forecast an increase of 22 to 23 percent.

All market regions contributed to the strong growth. In Europe, annual sales rose by 16.8 percent to 428.1 million euros, in America by 20.8 percent to 404.4 million euros and in Asia by 40.4 percent to 306.8 million euros.

In view of the continued “very positive” order numbers for the new spring-summer collection, the company reiterated its goal of increasing sales by around ten percent in the current year. Management is now targeting growth of this magnitude for 2025 as well.
