Bruggeling Sander Blommaert wins important dance prize in UK

Sander Blommaert is the twin brother of figure skater Ruben Blommaert. He has been a big name in England for some time: he danced for seven years with The Royal Ballet and he teaches in Birmingham.

During the first lockdown, in 2020, the Bruges resident gave a hundred free ballet lessons online. 400 students took part, and the jury of the People’s Choice Award also noticed Blommaert’s initiative.
