Bruges wants to ask residents about De Lijn transport plan

At the beginning of July, a new bus plan was introduced, as a result of which many stops were canceled or bus lines changed routes. There are quite a few comments about that, it sounds. That is why there is now an objective inquiry. Dirk De fauw, mayor of Bruges: “Especially the users of public transport, of course. Those who think it’s good, but also those who think it’s less good and have comments, everything is welcome. And the intention is that we will then work together with De Lijn We are going to bundle all this, see which comments are justified and what we can do about it. Which lines can be added additionally, which diversions can be realized. And we have to see what can be done about that.”

The survey will not start until October, to give pupils and students the opportunity to share their experiences and comments on the bus at the beginning of September.
