The Christmas market and the light walk in the city center of Bruges are already running at full speed, and there will be an extra major event starting next week. In the week before Christmas, De Warmste Week completely takes over ‘t Zand. Bazart, Pommelien Thijs, Clouseau and Het Zesde Metaal, among others, will perform there. Every evening there is room for around 15,000 visitors, so Bruges is preparing to ensure everything runs smoothly. “We have to evaluate everything carefully after the first evening to see how we will proceed. We hope that everyone can admire the artists up close, even if it is from a large screen,” says Mayor Dirk De fauw.
