Bruges is building a new district with 800 homes

The building will immediately be the highest in the city and will be located just next to the lock from the canal to Zeebrugge. The city has now completed the study. It is up to the project developers to further shape the plans.

Alderman for Spatial Planning Franky Deman is adamant: “The intention is to develop a completely new part of Bruges. We are going to take off with housing, trade and offices.” The city also provides space for young creatives.
