Bruges fathers attract attention at the cheese market

Among the cheese sellers, the Discalced Carmelites stand out. They are fathers from Bruges who propose a new cheese on the cheese market to make ends meet. West Flemish cows supply the milk for their semi-hard cheese. The supply is scarce because the Carmelites only produce 500 cheese balls a month. Cheese is a West Flemish export product: our province has 200 types of cheese.
