Bruges carillon will soon play ‘Ken Brugge in mien erte’

The Bruges national anthem ‘Ken Brugge in mien erte’, albeit without the voice of Benny Scott, will be heard every quarter past eleven on the Bruges carillon after the Easter holidays. For this, the carillon had to be completely reprogrammed. It has more than 30,000 holes, and the pins have to be in the right place.

“I’m very happy with it. It’s a kind of crowning achievement for my career. Especially the songs in the Bruges dialect. The song is now 41 years old and I’m very happy,” smiles Benny Scott.
