Willis suffers from aphasia and the family reported in March. Willis and Heming have two children, Mabel10, and Evelyn, 8. Heming says she recently received advice that made her re-evaluate her own coping.

– Someone said that when you take too much care of others, you end up neglecting your own well-being. This stopped me and really made me think.

Heming now points out that it is important to find things that support one’s own well-being.

– I know that my basic needs are training first. It’s a time when I take a break from everything and do something that makes me feel good in general.

She also cherishes quality time with her family.

– As a family, it has always been important for us to create common memories. We love spending time with each other and realize that time is precious. I don’t take it for granted.
