Bruce Willis (68) has one more woman in his life.
His eldest daughter, Rumer Willis (34), gave birth to little Louetta Isley Thomas on April 18, as she announced on Instagram on Tuesday evening. “You are more than we ever dreamed of,” wrote the actress and her partner Derek Richard Thomas (28).
For Papa Bruce it is the first grandchild that one of his five daughters gives him. With so much concentrated female power, he was actually hoping for a boy, as Rumer said in an interview with “People” magazine: “It has to be a son because I urgently need a bit of male energy in this bunch,” he said joked about the birth.
By the bunch, the actor means wife Emma Willis (44), with whom he has two daughters, ex-wife Demi Moore and their three daughters. Emma and Bruce seem delighted with the granddaughter: “Oh Louetta we love you so much,” Emma wrote on Instagram.
Bruce Willis certainly doesn’t always have it easy with his now eight ladies, but in his current situation he seems to be in good hands with them.
Because it was only in February that the family announced that Willis was suffering from dementia. His speech disorder aphasia, diagnosed a year ago, was probably a symptom of the impending memory loss. The action star (“Die Hard”) had to end his acting career at the time and is now said to have difficulty communicating.
But despite all the difficulties, there are also beautiful moments. On March 20, the Willis clan celebrated the actor’s 68th birthday. The ladies in his life cheered him on once more. “So happy we can celebrate with you. Love you and family,” Bruce Willis’ ex-wife Demi wrote alongside a video of the celebration she posted to Instagram.
