A 20-year-old man was assaulted and robbed of his sunglasses at the end of the King’s Day festival in the Liberation Park in Uden on Wednesday. The man’s mother reports that.
Her son was approached by a woman around 11 p.m. when he was about to leave. He demanded his sunglasses. “When he did not give them voluntarily, the glasses were taken away and he was beaten by a group of boys,” says mother Danielle on Facebook.
Teeth damaged and nose probably broken
The man’s teeth were damaged and his nose is believed to have been broken. The victim will file a report, but according to the woman, the police and the judiciary can only take action if there is a statement from a witness.
“My son was alone at the time, but there must be people who saw this,” says the mother. She asks people who have seen the abuse to report to her or to the police. “This must be addressed!”
