Chicken fillet is a mouth-wateringly soft and tasty chicken sauce. Since chicken is not readily available, the sauce can be made from chicken drumsticks.

Chicken fillet is served with rice. Adobe Stock/AOP, Home Chef

Chicken fillet served with blackcurrant jelly is remembered by many from school days. The dish has been on school menus all over Finland and has been both loved and hated.

Chicken fillet is easy to make yourself. Villokki should be made from chicken drumsticks or a roast cut, as the fat contained in the meat will thicken the sauce. Chicken fillet gets its yellow color from curry powder.

6 pieces of unseasoned koipires

salt

water

2 double creams

8 dlkeitin broth

5 tsp curry powder

50 g of butter

4 tablespoons of wheat flour

2. Separate the meat from the bones.

3. Put butter in the pan and let the butter melt. Stir in the wheat flour, do not brown. Pour the cooking broth into the butter flour while mixing. Add curry and salt.
