“We have done everything we can to improve Patton’s situation,” Britt writes on Instagram with photos and videos of the unfortunate horse. “From the very best doctors to alternative medicine. Unfortunately, he hasn’t gotten up since Wednesday and his situation got worse. You prefer to keep looking until you have wasted your last euro if it would be necessary for a recovery and a nice horse life. Only this would never be possible again.”
The thirty-year-old presenter expressed her concerns about the foal on Sunday. “I’m at my wits’ end and I didn’t really want to post this but I’m doing it anyway in the hope that someone has experienced something similar. All your thoughts and information are very welcome.”
Farewell Message
Finally, Britt, who finished eleventh at the Dutch Dressage Championships last year, also thanks her followers in the farewell message. “Thanks to your help and all the tips we came up with all possible and best options and we really had hope again. Many thanks for that.”
The foal was to be the successor to George, the top horse that Britt received ‘forever on loan’ from Talpa boss John de Mol in exchange for making programs.
