Britt Dekker can’t stomach the fact that Angela de Jong doesn’t like her: she just keeps trying to get her gram. This time she shares a sneer about Angela’s ‘pH level’.
She has a kind of obsession with some of her friends: Britt Dekker. If you keep an eye on her socials, you will notice that she has been diligently receiving all kinds of compliments for years and years after every TV appearance. is about itself like and retweet. Really too fanatical. And if she gets criticized? Then the fence of the dam.
Angela the loser?
Britt sought a fight with Angela de Jong on live television on Sunday evening, because the AD opinion diva called her ‘fake’. That is not a controversial opinion, because even her Talpa colleagues are not entirely enthusiastic. According to Rick Romijn, Britt is ‘arrogant’ in real life and Johan Derksen speaks of ‘alarming reports’ about her behaviour.
Right after that TV fight, Britt has a whole Instagram post and in it she pretends that Angela has come out of this conflict as the loser (‘I read all the hate on Angela in the comments everywhere’), but the big loser is of course Britt herself. By continuously attacking critics, she confirms the prejudice that all celebrities have extremely long toes.

And Britt keeps going. Now she’s sharing another one Instagramstory in which one of her fans throws a sneer at Angela’s acidity. “Gosh, Britt Dekker, who I think is an example of being authentic, is super vulnerable and open in that program, even shows that she takes Angela’s opinion seriously.”
This Denise continues: “She shows that she sees everything as constructive criticism and is willing to look at it, and what does Angela say with a cold look: ‘So you don’t come across as yourself’. Can that woman from the tube please? The pH value of my picture tube is seriously unbalanced.”
By reposting this prominently in her own Insta stories, Britt naturally expresses her support for this message.
Nice to celebrities
In any case, Britt is nice to celebrities, says Evert Santegoeds in his podcast Strictly Private. “I recently had dinner with Connie Witteman and Britt was sitting a few tables away. Connie saw her, turned out to be a huge fan of Britt’s, so that ended with those two ladies and an appointment to go horse riding with Connie’s grandchildren.”
So nice of Britt, says Evert. “Then I think: you are just like on TV. And spontaneous, and fun. That people don’t like it every now and then, you have that. Both factors are involved: jealousy, envy, people who are just against everything and everyone. Keep going and don’t let it get you down. You never do well in the eyes of a lot of people.”
Friends with celebrities
Jordi Versteegden, Evert’s colleague, notes that he has also seen Britt act very nicely against Maxime Meiland’s daughter. “That is very nice to see.”
Um, but this isn’t a surprise, is it? Britt (31) has even become best friends with Wendy van Dijk’s 13-year-old daughter, according to angry tongues purely because Wendy’s husband Erland Galjaard was Talpa boss until recently. A few months ago, Britt was confronted in Today Inside with the rumors that she would lick her way up.
More arrogant to fans
Perhaps Britt is only nice to famous people that she can use, says Jordi. “You’re talking about Connie and Maxime’s daughter, a celebrity. It seems that she would be a bit more arrogant to fans.”
Evert: “I don’t know. I’m not there. If people come up with examples, I’d be happy to… But it’s hard for me to imagine, because she’s just an exceptionally nice and smart girl.”
