Britney Spears shared a post on Instagram on Tuesday (December 5) in which she appears completely naked, with the bare necessities covered with stars. After her last nude post on November 30th, she now published a video from the same scene – and wants to prove the authenticity of the photos.
According to her statements, the video was taken three months ago while she was vacationing on a private island in French Polynesia. “There are no paparazzi here, so I walk around the island naked,” the 42-year-old wrote in her post.
In the same setting, Spears appeared naked on Instagram on November 30th. At that time, she posted a photo in which she was smiling and posing for the camera. “Video so you can see that the pictures are real,” she refers to the previously shared photo in the description of the now published reel.
Britney Spears on her self-determination
Britney Spears also has an explanation for her freedom of movement. In her biography The Woman in Me, published in October, she says: “I know a lot of people don’t understand why I love taking pictures of myself naked or in new clothes, but I think: if they did thousands of times If they had been photographed by other people, if they had been pressured into posing for other people, they would understand that I get a lot of joy out of posing the way I feel sexy and taking my own photo.”
With her autobiography, Spears became a worldwide bestseller and sold around 1.1 million copies in the first few weeks. In the work, the singer reveals details about her relationship with Justin Timberlake, her life as a pop star and also the time behind the scenes up to her 13-year guardianship. In November 2021, her father Jamie Spears’ guardianship was lifted after long court proceedings.
