A first teaser of the track entitled “Mind Your Business” can already be heard.
Britney Spears and will.i.am release a new song together on Wednesday (July 19). The title of the track: “Mind Your Business”. The two are already sharing a first teaser on social media.
will.i.am, whose real name is William James Adams Jr., has repeatedly emphasized that he is a big fan of Spears and her music. Last year, the musician fueled the rumor mill in an interview with the breakfast program “Good Morning Britain” on the English TV channel “ITV”. This post was re-uploaded to a fan account on Twitter on June 20th this year. The approximately one-year-old clip dates from the time when the single “Don’t You Worry” was made in collaboration with David Guetta, Shakira and The Black Eyed Peas. This was released on June 17, 2022. When asked if a collaboration with Britney Spears was planned or when it would come, the artist replied: “There are some things in the works and some things that have happened in the past. I can’t reveal anything. I live a very private life” and laughed into the camera.
will.i.am showed the teaser for the single with the caption “Uh oh!!!” on his Instagram account. This summer is about to be hot!!!” Britney Spears also posted the teaser in her stories on Tuesday (July 18) and shared one Link to upcoming single.
“Mind Your Business” is not the first single for which the two artists stood together in the studio. Over ten years ago they recorded the joint song “Scream & Shout”. It was featured on the American musician’s fourth studio album #WILLPOWER and became a hit after its release in November 2012.
The two also recorded a track together for Britney Spear’s album FEMME FATALE. The song “Big Fat Bass” was released in March 2011 on their seventh studio album.
