The 96-year-old British veteran Harry Rawlings witnessed the lighting of the Liberation Fire in Wageningen at midnight on Wednesday. The former soldier, dressed in a red uniform, will open the Liberation parade in Wageningen with nineteen other very elderly British veterans on Thursday in historic army vehicles.
