The girl’s parents had only had the animal for a week. The police killed the dog. The police will conduct tests to find out if it was an illegal breed of dog. Agents will also try to find the previous owners.
A neighbor told the BBC she didn’t get a good look at the animal, but “from behind it looked like a Staffordshire Bull Terrier or a pit bull.”
