Russian troops have completely withdrawn from northern Ukraine and are now in Russia and Belarus. The British army reported this on Friday morning based on intelligence services. At least part of these forces will be deployed in eastern Ukraine, according to the British.
It will probably take at least another week before the troops withdrawn from the north of Ukraine can be deployed in the eastern Donbas region. First, according to the intelligence services, “significant expansions are needed”, without going into further detail.
Meanwhile, cities in eastern and southern Ukraine are shelled by the Russian army. From the strategically located city of Izium near Kharkov, the Russian troops are making a further advance southwards, according to the British army.
