Only the best for the party: plenty of Berlin booth magic. Here are our tips for the most beautiful Christmas markets – for young and old, for families, singles and tourists, classic or something different.

Christmas market at the Memorial Church. Classic with 60 stands in the middle of the pulsating City-West. Breitscheidplatz (Charlottenburg), Sun-Thurs 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fri/Sat 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Christmas Eve 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., 25./26.12. from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., New Year’s Eve 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., New Year’s 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission free.

Christmas magic. This time not on the Gendarmenmarkt, but at the State Opera. Impressive atmosphere and traditional craftsmanship.

Christmas market and winter world at Potsdamer Platz. Here you can get down to business, with curling, a giant toboggan run and much more.

Christmas market at Charlottenburg Palace. Unfortunately, for the last time until December 26th you can experience the romantic scenery at the castle.

Spandauer Damm 20 (Charlottenburg), Mon–Thu 2 p.m.–10 p.m., Fri–Sun 12 p.m.–10 p.m., closed on Christmas Eve, December 25/26. from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission free.

Christmas hype on Frankfurter Allee. Successor to the winter dream on Alexa. Fast-paced rides and local specialties until December 26th.

Frankfurter Allee (Friedrichshain), Mon-Thu 2pm-9.30pm, Fri 1pm-9.30pm, Sat 1pm-10pm, Sun 2pm-10pm, closed on Christmas Eve. Admission free.

Stall magic with a lot of tradition: In Spandau, the whole family celebrates in the old town - and has been for more than four decades

Spandau Christmas market. The classic Christmas market for the whole family takes place until December 22nd. Altstadt Spandau, Sun–Thu 11 a.m.–8 p.m., Fri/Sat 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Admission free.

Christmas market at Alexanderplatz. Until December 26, you can get in the Christmas spirit on the Alex with the Ferris wheel, carousels, raffle booths and the traditional travel pyramid.

Lucia Christmas market in the Kulturbrauerei. A colorful cultural program can be found here until December 22nd. An Advent world in the two large historic courtyards.

Schönhauser Allee 36 (Prenzlauer Berg), Mon–Fri 3pm–10pm, Sat/Sunday 12pm–10pm. Admission free.

The magic of stalls in the middle of Mitte: On Alexanderplatz and in front of the Rotes Rathaus, Advent is festive.  Old Berlin scenes and stands with arts and crafts and feasts are set up, as well as a great ice rink at the Neptunbrennen

Christmas market at the Red Town Hall. Until December 30th you will find a Marktgasse with an old Berlin backdrop in the heart of the capital. Rathausstraße (middle), Mon–Fri 12 noon–10 p.m., Sat/Sun 11 a.m.–10 p.m., 25/26 December from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., closed on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Admission free, ice rink free.

Glowing Forest at Mercedes Platz. In all Advent weeks from Wednesday to Sunday, Mercedes-Platz is transformed into a Christmas forest from 4 p.m. Mercedes Platz 1 (Friedrichshain), daily from 4 p.m. Admission free.
