Bridget Maasland understands that Sarah van Soelen wants to be removed from the new documentary by André Hazes Jr.. “I can imagine that you don’t want to be drawn into that again.”
André Hazes Jr. started shooting a documentary about his life more than a year ago, under his own management. He sold it to Videoland, reportedly for 250 thousand euros. A large part of that documentary is about André’s time with the Van Soelen family: he lived with them and got into a relationship with Sarah van Soelen.
Sarah wants out
The Van Soelentjes never heard from André again after his sudden breakup with Sarah and that doesn’t sit well with them. The whole family now wants to get out of that documentary and demand that from the makers. However, Team-André wants to prevent that at all costs, because it would make a huge hole in that already sold documentary.
How is this now? Luuk Ikink yesterday in RTL Boulevard: “The Van Soelen family has not yet reached an agreement about the documentary by André Hazes, which Sarah van Soelen and her family are in, but which they no longer want to participate in after the break with André.”
No lawsuit
And now? “Sarah lets us know today that she will be meeting the creators soon and hopes it all falls her way. Earlier she also let us know that she does not want to fight a legal battle, but that she no longer sees any reason to cooperate after the break with Hazes Jr.
Attorney Clarice Stenger thinks Sarah isn’t very strong in a lawsuit either. “I can imagine that a judge will take that into account, of: ‘Madam, you were in it in the documentary. What exactly did you think? Now it is made and you say you withdraw it anyway.’”

Bridget Maasland, one of André’s many exes, understands very well that Sarah wants out. “I can imagine that you don’t want to be drawn into that again. It’s over, isn’t it?”
Clarice: “But you know that when you participate in such a documentary. It is of course not said that the situation is still the same as in the documentary.”
