Bridget Maasland shocked her colleagues at RTL Boulevard with her emotional outburst in a program of the public broadcaster. “It scares me too. I didn’t know at all.”

Kefah Allush has a program on the public broadcaster in which he drives through the country with a coffin on his car looking for celebrities in an emotional mood. Tonight it’s Bridget Maasland’s turn and she makes a pretty personal outpouring, namely that she used to not always feel like life anymore.

Black side

Bridget talks extensively about her black side. “I know dark can be very dark. Sombre, dark, very dark it became. Don’t want anymore. What no more? Yes, life… So concrete, yes.”

Then what did she do? “Well, quickly coming up with things I had to do. That I went from there, away from that. And at a certain point it became easier, then I had a child. And if you have something to live for, it’s not that hard. Apparently I don’t think I’m enough to live for, so I was very happy to have such a little bumblebee in my life.”

‘I’m scared’

Frank Dane started the fragment yesterday at RTL Boulevard and reacts shocked. “It scares me too. I didn’t know at all.”

Colleague Lex Uiting: “Me neither.”

Frank: “Do you know this, Clarice? Because you are friends?”

Clarice emotionally: “No, this moves me too. No I do not know. No no.”

‘How crazy’

Frank is okay with Bridget sharing this side of herself. “But how strange, but that’s how you see it. You always see Bridget standing here as that woman who has everything under control. But she is such a sweet lady with a small heart. I am afraid of this.”

Reporter Aran Bade: “I also think it’s an impressive program, because it always sparks these kinds of conversations apparently. Yes, I think it’s impressive what they say. And brave of Bridget.”

Clarice: “For the whole context, I think it’s just good to watch the entire program. I am curious about that.”
