The bridal and evening fashion specialist Weise Fashion GmbH & Co. KG has two new managing directors. Since September 22nd, the company has been led by co-CEOs Anne-Kathrin Hataraki and Carolin Braun, the clothing provider announced on Tuesday. You therefore succeeded Zoran Banozic.
The background to the personnel changes is the strategic takeover of Weise in February 2021 by the Düsseldorf bridal fashion provider Iamyours GmbH, which Anne-Kathrin Hataraki has led as CEO since March 2020. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Carolin Braun also plays a leadership role at Iamyours. In the future, the managers would lead both companies as dual leadership and thus “merge even more intensively,” according to a statement.
“We regret Zoran Banozic’s departure and wish him all the best in his new role,” said Hatakari and Braun in a joint statement. At the same time, the change in leadership would create “new opportunities for Weise and Iamyours to grow even further together,” emphasized the two managing directors. “We look forward to working with the dedicated teams across Germany and to further expanding Weise Fashion’s market position. Together we will continue our success story and take advantage of the opportunities that our companies have in our industry,” say Hatakari and Braun.
