According to English media reports, FC Brentford can secure the services of the courted full-back Aaron Hickey. Instead of moving from Bologna FC to SSC Napoli or Arsenal FC, the 20-year-old is about to sign in West London, as initially reported by Sky Sports. The transfer fee is around £14 million plus bonus payments.

Even the basic fee (16.25 million euros) is a record for the “Bees”. The “BBC” reports a conceivable total volume of the transfer, including add-ons, of the equivalent of almost 20 million euros. A more expensive left-back in the age group up to 20 years has only ever existed at a Premier League club with Luke Shaw (2014 at 18 to Man United).
