The Flemish Healthcare Department wants to close a residential care complex at two locations in Bredene. ‘Serving You’ accommodates about 40 elderly people, but is not recognized as a residential care center. After an inspection last summer, it turned out that they did not meet the quality requirements. According to Mayor Steve Vandenberghe, complaints have been coming in about this for years.
