For a long time he was gloomy about the corona measures, whereby the catering industry was regularly locked. But since tonight, catering boss Johan de Vos from Breda can smile again. “This is the long-awaited perspective that we’ve been waiting for so long.”
From next Friday, all catering establishments can open again until one o’clock in the morning. Wearing a mouth cap and the one and a half meters away are therefore no longer mandatory, it was announced on Tuesday evening during the cabinet press conference.
“It was about time”, says De Vos with relief. “I think people also need a smile instead of my grumpy face. I look back on this press conference with joy, because after two years we are finally heading this way. We have walked on eggshells for a long time, and this is the long-awaited perspective we’ve been waiting for so long.”
