Breakthrough in dune murder: Egmonder (30) confesses to killing Peter Langenberg

The Egmondse Jent S. has declared to the police that he mistreated Peter Langenberg. He says he kicked or punched him. According to the OM, he is therefore responsible for the killing of 56-year-old Alkmaarder in April this year.

This became apparent during the second interim hearing, which is currently taking place in the court in Haarlem. The first months S. was silent about his role in Langenberg’s death.

It was found lifeless by a hiker on April 17, Easter Sunday, in the dunes north of Egmond aan Zee. According to the Public Prosecution Service, he was brutally killed. The Alkmaarder was undressed and had ‘very serious facial injuries’, according to the officer during an earlier session.

The suspect Jent S. (30) from Egmond aan Zee was picked up within a week. His DNA was also found on the victim.

More about the breakthrough in the case of the Egmond dune murder later.
