Türk Telekom Basketball Team will face Serbian representative Partizan NIS in the 11th week of the ULEB European Cup tomorrow.
Türk Telekom will host Partizan NIS, the team of Zeljko Obradovic, who is considered the legendary head coach of Europe and has had historical victories with Fenerbahçe, at Ankara Sports Hall. The match will start at 20:00.
Ranking 7th out of 10 teams in the group with 5 wins and defeats each, Türk Telekom lost 85-59 to Partizan NIS in the away match. The Serbian representative is in the 2nd place with 8 wins and 2 losses.
OBRADOVIC AT THE OFFICIAL MATCH IN TURKEY AFTER 2 YEARS
Zeljko Obradovic will play an official match in Turkey after about 2 years. Obradovic, who played 507 matches with Fenerbahçe, won 4 leagues, 3 Turkish Cups and 3 Presidential Cups in Turkey, in addition to his Europa League victory.
The Serbian head coach played his last official match in Turkey when Fenerbahçe defeated TOFAŞ 84-75 on 15 March 2020. Obradovic had also come to Istanbul with Partizan NIS for a special tournament organized by Fenerbahçe at the beginning of the season.
Obradovic lifted the last trophy he won in Turkey at Ankara Sports Hall, where the match will be played tomorrow. Fenerbahce with Obradovic won the Turkish Cup by defeating Darüşşafaka at Ankara Sports Hall on February 16, 2020.
