Having won 5 championships with Manchester United, Schmeichel became the first goalkeeper to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Kompany, who was chosen as the best player of the 2011-2012 season in the Premier League with Manchester City and won 4 championships, made history as the first defender to reach this honor.
Playing for teams such as Arsenal, Crystal Palace, West Ham United, Wright scored 113 goals in 213 league games. On the other hand, Scholes made 107 goals in 499 Premier League games for Manchester United, where he won 11 championships.
