Breaking Bad star is distantly related to King Charles: ‘Crazy’

Actor Bob Odenkirk heard on TV that he is distantly related to the British monarch.

Breaking Bad – series and its Better Call Saul actor known from the spin-off Bob Odenkirk61, has received surprising news: he is distantly related to the king For Charles75.

Odenkirk learned about his ancestry Finding Your Roots in the series where Gates Jr. says the king is part of the actor’s father’s side of the family. In the episode, it was revealed that Charles is Odenkirk’s 11th cousin.

Realizing the secrets of his family, Odenkirk gives his honest opinion about the monarchy.

– I think it’s a bit twisted. I understand why society built itself around monarchy and leaders and continued it for generations, the man explains.

– But I think we have progressed in a better direction in democracy, so we should continue on that path, he adds at the end.

Odenkirk is known for his role as Saul Goodman in the series Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. He got Better Call Saul six Primetime Emmy nominations from the series. In addition to the works in question, he has been seen in, among other things Nebraska– and Nobody-films and heard The Miracle Family 2 – as an animation voice actor.
