Brazilians are playing for eighth Copa America title

The Brazilian women’s soccer team reached the final of the Copa America in Colombia without their exceptional player Marta who was injured.

In the semifinals of the South American championship, the Brazilians beat Paraguay 2-0 (2-0) in Bucaramanga and will now meet the hosts in the final on Saturday (local time).

The Brazilian team, coached by Swede Pia Sundhage, is playing for their eighth Copa America title. By reaching the final, she also secured a place at the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand and at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
