Marlon Zanotelli has won the ninth stage of the Global Champions Tour.
The show jumper from Brazil won the jump-off at the Paris Grand Prix riding Like A Diamond van het Schaeck. The Englishwoman Lily Attwood with Cor-Leon v. Vlierbeek.
The best German starter was Christian Ahlmann. The 47-year-old from Marl rode Mandato van de Neerheide in 15th place with four penalties. Christian Kukuk from Riesenbeck took 21st place with Cemal. The 32-year-old had six penalties to his credit.
At the stations of the million series, which includes 15 stages and the playoff tournament in November in Prague, there had been six German victories this season. Ahlmann and Ludger Beerbaum each won twice, Katrin Eckermann and Daniel Deußer once each.
