On the way to the Olympic Games in Paris, the German Championships for track and field athletes will take place in Braunschweig on the last weekend in June 2024. This was announced by the German Athletics Association (DLV) on Wednesday. Braunschweig will host the title fights for the sixth time.
“Our city offers excellent conditions for this high-class event and a lot of experience in organizing major athletics championships, a good tourist infrastructure and, last but not least, an enthusiastic audience,” said Braunschweig Mayor Thorsten Kornblum: “People in the region can look forward to a sporting top-class event.”
