Hardly anyone still wants the spades, Health Minister Ursula Nonnemacher (64, Greens) at a loss. The numbers are also collapsing in Berlin
More and more corona cases, but hardly any people in Brandenburg can still be vaccinated. The Minister of Health is at a loss.
Just 34,500 took the spade last week, less than half the number of the previous week. In mid-December there were still 190,000 vaccinations. But since the beginning of February, Brandenburg has had the fewest vaccinations nationwide and is even well behind Saxony.
“The 1,400 vaccination centers are far from being used to capacity,” complains Minister Ursula Nonnemacher (64, Greens). The number in medical practices also fell from 137,000 to 23,000.
“I can’t give you any explanations,” said Nonnemacher on Wednesday in the Potsdam Health Committee, “I think many people are still waiting for adapted vaccines or the approval of Novavax.” The so-called dead vaccine should get nurses and geriatric nurses from February 21. You must be vaccinated by March 16th.

“Anyone who is not vaccinated in nursing does not take Novavax either,” believes the Potsdam family doctor Astrid Tributh (67), “it would be better to give the vaccine to the family doctor’s practice.” People are dissatisfied with the constant back and forth of politics. A lot of people get stubborn and stubborn. I can understand that.”
Vaccination also fell in Berlin: to 58,600 in seven days. Only 10,760 pike were planted in the vaccination centers. Her future is now being negotiated.
