The photos were taken in June in Moscow and Rostov-on-Don. Water, flour and bread were brought from Moscow to the war zone in Donetsk and Mariupol in a 20-ton truck. However, the food mainly benefits the Russians and pro-Russian Ukrainians living there.

Means: A Brandenburg association supports Putin’s war!
But who is behind Friedensbrücke-Kriegsvictimhilfe e. v?
The chairwoman is Liane Kilinc (49), she used to be with the Left Party. Today she speaks at events of the German Communist Party (DKP), most recently in August at the “Unsere Zeit” press festival on Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. On the homepage of the association, among other things, a book called “Before the ‘vaccination’ you were healthy” – distributed in lateral thinker circles – is offered.
BZ meets the chairman in front of her house in Wandlitz (Barnim), confronts her with the photos.
She says: “This is a partner club and we are not responsible for that. We need local partners, without them we are unable to act.” The Russian association would have thanked Friedensbrücke for the financing with the photos via Twitter. If someone from her club had posed with the Z symbol here in Germany, she would have stopped it.

However, the association also counts the Interior Ministry of the “Republic of Donetsk” among its partners – a Russian-occupied part of Ukraine that is only recognized by Russia, North Korea and Syria. Kilinc says: “Donetsk is recognized by Russia as a republic. That is binding for me for the time being.”
The war aggressors for Kilinc are NATO and the USA.
If she supports the war, she finally replies: “For me it is a defensive war.”
After the BZ request, the Brandenburg police initiated investigations against the association. The accusation: Violation of § 140 of the Criminal Code – reward and approval of criminal offenses. On Tuesday, the police said: “The investigations into the facts mentioned are still ongoing.”
And the Brandenburg Ministry of Finance has now pricked up its ears. Because Friedensbrücke e. V. has been recognized as a non-profit organization by the Eberswalde tax office since 2017. Non-profit associations do not have to pay taxes on donations and are more likely to receive funding.
When asked by the BZ, the Ministry of Finance writes: “As you rightly point out, some things about the club appear ‘more than questionable’. This does not only apply to the partners. The Ministry of Finance has therefore now initiated a procedure for the purpose of checking the non-profit status of the association.
