From July 1st, the brand will be continued by Gregor Roy-Chowdhury, Gerke announced on Thursday. However, an order and NOS deliveries should be possible for the coming autumn/winter season via Continentala Capital Gesellschaft mbH, which is the new owner of the brand. The company produces around 700,000 pairs of trousers a year for “well-known European brands,” according to the release.
The new owner takes over ‘Gerke my Pants’ from Gerke AG. The clothing supplier from Uslar in Lower Saxony is ending its business operations due to the general economic situation and the lack of prospects in the clothing industry.
