Brad Pitt he may be a timeless sex symbol and one of the most fascinating men in Hollywood but apparently the job of a father just doesn’t suit him. In the last weeks his older children are describing him as an absentee parent and a terrible man.
Brad Pitt, Zahara removes his last name
Self Maddox, who is 22 years old, broke off all relationships with his father a few years ago (and on documents he now only uses his maternal surname, as he revealed Us weekly)a few days ago too Zahara (18) gave the impression that he had done the same. During the admission ceremony for one of the fraternities (AKA) of the college she attends, she introduced herself as “Zahara Marley Jolie”, removing the paternal part of the surname. A gesture that triggered controversy over Brad Pitt’s parental role.
Pax: «A terrible person»
Controversies that have now been enriched by a new chapter. The Daily Mail revealed that the couple’s other adopted son, 19-year-old Pax, in an Instagram story published in 2020 on the occasion of Father’s Day (which in the USA is celebrated in June) had defined Brad Pitt «a world class asshole». And, making matters worse, he continued: «Time after time you continue to prove yourself to be a terrible person. You have neither consideration nor empathy for your four younger children, who tremble with fear in your presence. You will never be able to understand the damage you have done to my family, because you are incapable of doing so.”
“You made the lives of the people closest to me hell”
And again, Pax added in his accusation post, «you have made the lives of the people closest to me a constant hell. You can tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come out one day. So, Happy Father’s Day, you fucking terrible human being!!!”
Probably, Pax also refers to the famous “accident” which occurred in 2016 on the family’s private jet, when (according to the story given by Angelina Jolie in one of the harsh clashes during the stormy phases of the divorce) Brad Pitt first attacked his wife, and then he would take it out on his children, beating one and trying to strangle another.
The story had never emerged until now because, explains the Daily Mail, Pax had posted his accusations on the “private” Instagram account, “the one he uses to communicate with friends, and in particular with his schoolmates, and in which he has never spoken about his parents”.
Brad Pitt’s reply
Brad Pitt continues not to react to his children’s accusations Page Six, through a source close to the actor, revealed how he experiences the situation, “depressing and frustrating”. «It’s simply a shame that people continue to try to involve children” in the story: this would be his feeling. “It’s been a long seven years and it’s a shame when people unnecessarily raise issues relating to such a distant past… and don’t take into consideration the impact this has on the whole family.”
