Brad Pitt Files New Lawsuit Against Angelina Jolie

After months of silence in the media divorce process of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, it seems that the judicial battle resumes with force.

Now, the cause of the new brawl of the ex-partner is the mansion they own in French Provence, the Château Miraval, a farm valued at 140 million euros, according to ‘Page Six’.

The interpreter has filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife for the sale of his share of the Château Miraval, in France. In fact, the protagonist of ‘Seven’ has alleged that both agreed that neither of them would sell their share of the chateau without the consent of the other party.

But the ‘Fight Club’ star claims in the lawsuit that while the vineyard became “Pitt’s passion,” Jolie sold her share to Russian businessman Yuri Shefler without his permission.

Previously, the actress had already accused her ex-husband of blocking the sale of the vineyards and after filing a lawsuit, she managed to a judge withdraw the temporary order that prevented one of the parties from making financial decisions about their property during the divorce process.

The Miraval estate is located in the village of Correns, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, in southeastern France. The 35 room residence it is surrounded by lush gardens with a moat, fountains, aqueducts, a pond, a chapel and a vineyard in which Pitt says he invested a great deal of money.

Jolie, 46, and Pitt, 58, bought the mansion in 2008 for $28.4 million, married there in 2014 and had even planned to move in with their children and build a family wine business..

And though their messy divorce is over, the couple is still embroiled in court battles over custody of the children and their considerable assets.
