Actor Brad Pitt accuses his ex-wife Angelina Jolie of secretly selling her own shares in the former couple’s joint winery.
In 2022, Pitt filed a lawsuit accusing Jolie of selling shares in the Chateau Miraval winery to a Russian oligarch For Juri Shefler.
Brad Pitt is calling for the deal to be voided because wine has become his passion. The actor also says that the winery has become a company worth multimillions and one of the best rosé wine producers in the world.
According to Pitt, the couple had agreed in the divorce that they would not sell their own shares without the other’s consent. When talking about the winery, according to Pitt, Jolie had promised to take only hers away and leave the rest as an inheritance to her children.

Now Pitt alleges in court documents of CBS alleging that Jolie had sold shares in their joint winery “to get profits she doesn’t deserve and to recoup investments she didn’t make.”
Oscar winner Pitt claims to have invested a lot of money and effort into the winery, while Jolie has stayed out of it. When the couple bought the property, Jolie paid 40 percent for it, according to Pitt.
According to the documents, Shefler has previously tried to buy the winery from Pitt, who has not agreed to sell it. Jolie sold the shares to Stoli Group, a Shefler company.
