The Hockey Beast reports on the record number of bans set by Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins.
The Canadian striker has received eight bans during 13 NHL seasons. That number is bigger than any other player in NHL history.
Marchand has missed a total of 28 matches during eight bans. He has had to pay $ 1.4 million for his violations of the rules.
Marchand’s latest six-game ban came earlier this month from a match against Pittsburgh Penguins.
Marchand’s contract with the Boston Bruins will run until 2024-2025.
