An explosion took place on the Brabantdam in Ghent just after 11 p.m. last night. According to a witness, it was a paint bomb that had been put in a garbage can. No one was injured, and nothing is yet known about possible damage to the building in front of the garbage bin. Police and fire brigade arrived on site to investigate.
