The Berlin Volleys confidently completed their mandatory task in the Volleyball Bundesliga against the Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen.

The German champions clearly beat their Brandenburg rivals 3-0 (25:10, 25:20, 25:15) on Tuesday evening and celebrated their second victory in the second game.

In front of 918 spectators in the Paul-Dinter-Halle in Königs Wusterhausen, the guests could even afford to rest regular players like Ruben Schott, Marek Sotola and Tobias Krick.

In the first set, two series of serves by Estonian Timo Tammemaa laid the foundation for a highly superior performance by the favorite. Daniel Malescha, who represented Sotola in the diagonal position, also impressed with dynamic attacking actions.

However, given their superiority, the BR volleys temporarily lost their momentum. The young Netzhoppers team gave up their respect and fought doggedly. The outcome of the second set was open until 18:18. Only then did the capital club gain the decisive advantage thanks to two points from Timothee Carle.

With nine points in a row from Tammemaa’s service at the start of the third period to give them a 9-0 lead, the Volleys restored the original balance of power and then headed for an unchallenged victory. Malescha converted the second match point.
