Boys wait an hour and a half at the Arena to see Henderson: “A bit unnecessary, but nice”

It’s hard to see, but according to two guys posting at the Johan Cruijff Arena this afternoon, it’s real: Jordan Henderson driving into the stadium to complete his transfer to Ajax. The boys had to wait a while in the cold for that.

It became clear earlier in the day that Henderson is in Amsterdam when images of the footballer emerged at Schiphol. Various media from home and abroad reported today that the arrival of the international is as good as complete.

“Here you see it coming. A bit unclear, but it’s real.” One of the boys shows a video showing a car with presumably Jordan Henderson in the passenger seat. “I hope that with his experience we can climb a little higher in the rankings.”

The boys had to wait an hour and a half in the cold. Or that it was all worth it? “It’s hard to say,” the boy admits. “On the one hand, yes, because you are one of the first in the Netherlands. On the other hand, waiting an hour and a half is a bit unnecessary.”
