Boy gets ‘big blows’ during street robbery at Assen station

A minor boy was robbed last night near Assen station. According to police, he was hit in the head in the process. The victim was taken to a hospital for his injuries.

The street robbery was around 10:30 p.m. on Oosterparallelweg. According to the police, it was probably four perpetrators who attacked the boy.

They managed to get hold of the victim’s neck bag. After the robbery, the perpetrators fled in the direction of the south side of the track, the police said. No one has been arrested yet. The police are still looking for the perpetrators and are asking witnesses or people with footage from the area to come forward.
