A 19-year-old man from Etten-Leur was arrested on Sunday evening after he was caught driving without a driver’s license for the eighth time. A local police officer saw him driving and immediately recognized the young offender.
The local police officer was on his patrol around a quarter to eight on Sunday evening, when the car approached him. He recognized the driver immediately and gave him a stop sign. The hard-learned boy then decided to run away.
Escape attempt
He took off at great speed. He drove at full speed over intersections and a zebra crossing. Eventually the local police officer hit him out of sight on Landmanweg. But not for long. During the search that was set up, the officer saw the man walking. He denies driving the car.
The local police officer has addressed the boy several times about his behavior recently. Recently, he even came to his house for an interview.
