Boy (16) drives through a residential area under the influence of drugs and without a driver’s license

A sixteen-year-old boy was arrested in Waalwijk for driving a car under the influence of drugs. The boy was caught by the police because the lighting of the car he was driving was broken.

The Waalwijk police shared the news on Monday night in a message on Facebook. Officers saw the boy driving around with a co-driver in the Zanddonk district. “The driver, who was only sixteen, obviously did not have a driving license B,” the police said in the message on Facebook. The boy turned out to be under the influence of soft drugs and had to be taken to the station to take a blood sample.

“His parents were of course called. The sixteen-year-old co-driver also had something to say at home. That’s not a good way to start the new year. Talking about road safety,” the police said in the message.

The boy receives several fines for his action.
