Boy (15) shot in the back: ‘Perpetrator was looking for a random victim’

The police have shown new images of the shooting in Schadewijkstraat in Oss on Saturday, October 14. A 15-year-old boy was injured. The shooter is clearly recognizable. The shooter is especially easy to recognize on surveillance cameras in a supermarket.

The shooter is on camera just before the shooting incident, as can be seen in Opsporing Verzocht. The images show him cycling around hesitantly with a weapon in his pocket. Possibly looking for a victim, police said. Detectives assume that the perpetrator did not know his victim at the time and shot randomly.

Even better and recognizable images of the shooter come from surveillance cameras in a supermarket. At a quarter to ten in the evening, about fifteen minutes before the shooting, the suspect visits the store. He wears sportswear from the Under Armor brand and has a striking wristband.
