One of the three children (8, 12 and 14) who were involved in the serious car accident in Oss on Sunday night has died. This is reported by the police. The 14-year-old boy was in the back of the car that was hit by a car with two 18-year-old men from Megen and Berghem.
The boy was in the backseat with the other kids and took the brunt of the blows when the 18-year-olds’ car crashed into theirs. The other children were seriously injured. One of them has now succumbed to the injuries.
The accident happened on Sunday night shortly after one o’clock at the intersection of the Megensebaan and the Singel 1940-1945. Seven people were injured in total. The parents of the three injured children suffered minor injuries in the accident. The men from Megen and Berghem were in the other car. Both men also suffered minor injuries. Police are investigating which of the two was behind the wheel.
Too much alcohol
The men who were arrested in Oss for causing an accident on the Megensebaan in Oss had too much alcohol. This was revealed by a breathalyzer test. They have been arrested for causing an accident with injuries.
